Experience • Explore • Empower: these three principles will shape everything we create.
Experience
Learning through real experiences, meaningful encounters and opportunities to participate.
Explore
Encouraging curiosity through nature, culture, creativity, science, movement, places, people and new possibilities.
Empower
Supporting children to develop confidence, independence, communication, resilience and their own voice.
Our approach is child-centred, inclusive and flexible. We recognise that children are individuals, and that they may participate, communicate and learn in different ways.
There will not be one right way to experience our programmes.

Who we are here for
Children & families
Designed primarily for children and families, with programmes for different ages, interests and stages of development.
Children participate alongside others while also being recognised as individuals.
We consider the whole child: curiosity, creativity, communication, relationships, physical development, emotional expression, independence and connection with the world.
Families are part of the experience rather than simply watching from the side.

What are we creating
Tap a mushroom. It flips, and the story pops up.
We are creating a community that gives children and families opportunities to learn, explore, create, connect and experience the world in different ways.
Starting in England, our aim is to develop a strong and meaningful model that can grow through partnerships across the UK and, eventually, internationally.
We believe some of the most valuable learning happens through real experiences: creating something with your hands, discovering nature, meeting people from different cultures, performing, exploring a new place, working together or simply having the opportunity to try something new.
We will start with our core vision, but we will not put a boundary around what the organisation can become.
Our experiences will be for children of different ages, families and children with additional needs. We want every child to feel welcome, included and encouraged to participate in their own way.
The setting itself is not the definition of our work. The experience is.
